We invite you to join us at our Summer Art & Hobby Show to share your artistic talents and creative hobbies for all to enjoy! This could be your music, painting, drawing, quilting, yarnwork, handmade jewelry and gifts, photography, gardening, soaps and candles, baking (please!), writing, poetry, woodworking, sculpting, warcraft and other miniatures, scrapbooking, collection, performance, or whatever inspires your happiness and creativity. This could include your recent vacation photos, digital art, or DIY projects.
We started this as a virtual event during the pandemic to show what we were doing while isolating at home. Some found new creative outlets and others improved on artistic talents they already had. And it’s been so much fun that it’s now an annual event at our meeting location.
We’ll have tables set up for displays and there will be time for live spoken or musical performances. Send us an email if you’re bringing something to show and we’ll have table space for you. If you offer your work for sale, please bring business cards, your contact info, or a signup sheet where people interested in making a purchase can contact you since sales transactions cannot take place inside the library.
Free and open to the public. The show will start at 1:30 PM in the Library’s community room (just inside the front entrance on the left, there will be an NJHN sign). You’re welcome to join us for a post-show early dinner at a nearby place to be chosen before the meeting.
