NJHN March Program (Zoom): Seth Andrews vs. God: Who is the Better Intelligent Designer?

Join us on Zoom as we welcome Seth Andrews for his talk, Seth Andrews vs. God: Who is the Better Intelligent Designer?

Religious apologists often get misty and reverent about the “obvious” design in nature, yet Seth Andrews thinks God did a pretty shoddy job. Join us for an entertaining, often funny and sometimes alarming examination of the world’s faulty wiring and how Seth might have done better than whoever – or whatever – allegedly wrote the blueprints.

Seth Andrews is a former evangelical and Christian broadcaster who now hosts The Thinking Atheist, one of the most popular podcasts and online atheist communities in the world. The Thinking Atheist is not a person. It’s an icon. An idea. An encouragement to reject faith and embrace reason and evidence as we approach humanity’s challenges and opportunities.

Seth has authored five books, including his latest offering, “Christianity Made Me Talk Like an Idiot.” He also hosts a second podcast, True Stories with Seth Andrews.

With a mix of humor and heart, Seth has spoken for audiences large and small in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia about his former faith, the promotion of science and skepticism, the importance of Humanism in this often crazy world, and why we should all pursue a personal relationship with reality.

This is a Zoom only meeting which requires registration in advance at:
After registering you’ll receive a confirmation email from Zoom with the link to join the meeting.

The talk will start at 6:30 PM. There will be time for Q&A afterward. There will be a breakout room for dues-supporting members to hang out with Seth for an additional half hour after that. Free and open to the public.
