NJHN Land Acknowledgment
New Jersey Humanist Network acknowledges the land which our members occupy today as the traditional home of the Lenape Tribal Nations. This land is part of the ancient homeland and traditional territory of the Lenape people. We pay respect to Lenape peoples past, present, and future and their continuing presence in their homeland and throughout the Lenape diaspora, which includes present-day New Jersey, Delaware, and eastern Pennsylvania along the Delaware River watershed, New York City, western Long Island and the Lower Hudson Valley.
