For our program this month we’ll watch a short video presentation by Drew McCoy, the popular YouTuber known as Genetically Modified Skeptic, on the history of secular freethinkers who founded communes in Texas and their violent demise. Following a discussion about the video, we’ll have an open discussion about the current dangers and expansion of Christian Nationalism in the U.S., with some specific examples and recommendations for action.
The program will start at 1:30 PM in the Program Room (toward the back of the library on the left). Free and open to the public. Please feel free to share the event with anyone you think would be interested. Everyone is welcome to join us for an early dinner at a local restaurant after the meeting.
