We’ve arranged a group Wolf Watch Tour at the Lakota Wolf Preserve (LWP) in Columbia, NJ. The tours are led by the LWP owners, who have raised and care for all the animals at the preserve. During their presentations we’ll learn about the social structure of wolf packs, their eating habits, their interaction with humans, and many other interesting facts. They’ll educate us about the true behavior of the wolf and will be glad to answer any questions we may have. While in the observation area we will be able to watch the wolves play, interact with each other and maybe even hear them howl. And we can take photographs, so bring the good camera.

Our tour is scheduled for Sunday, October 7 at 10:30am. As a group, we need to arrive by 9:45 to get everyone registered and then take the shuttle from the parking lot to the observation area. If you are late for the shuttle, you’ll have to walk and a lot of the walk will be uphill. Each Wolf Watch is 60-75 minutes long.

COST: $15 for adults, $7 for children up to 11 yrs old, plus tax. Each person will pay their own cost, CASH OR CHECK ONLY, they don’t take credit cards. RSVP by email no later than Friday, October 5 with how many people in your party. We need to let them know how many people will be taking the shuttle.

**IMPORTANT: Please read all the details at the LWP website. There are important instructions there. Contact with, petting or feeding the wolves is strictly prohibited and against state law. Do not bring pets or leave them in the car. Wear sturdy shoes, a jacket appropriate for the outdoor weather, and bring water.

LWP is located on the grounds of Camp Taylor Campground. Camp Taylor is a separate business and not part of the preserve.
