NJHN is celebrating 25 years of Humanist Community with our first New Year’s Party! Please join us as we mark the anniversary with a meal together, a silent auction, and a virtual food drive.

We’re returning to the Stoney Brook Grille for their incredible Sunday Brunch Buffet, which will include: a Hot Table, Cold Table, Dessert Table, juice, coffee and hot tea. And there will be a cash bar for alcohol, soda and iced tea.

Cost:
$30 per Adult (NJHN paid member) (you can become a member at the event or on our Membership page at any time)
$35 per Adult (non-member)
$20 per College Student/Adult with Limited Income (paid members only)
$15 Children age 6-17
Children age 5 and under are FREE

You can pay by cash, check or credit card at the event. RSVP at SignupGenius by December 29, 2019. In the Public Comment area list the names of everyone in your party and children’s ages. Space is limited to 70 people, so please don’t wait until the last minute.

PLEASE NOTE: The party room is on the first floor of the restaurant and is stroller- and handicap-accessible.

Silent Auction
We’re holding a Silent Auction again! This fundraiser helps fund our activities year round, and we always need new items donated for the auction. If you have something to donate, such as handmade jewelry, a business service or product, gift baskets or certificates, new books, music, quiltwork, needlework or artwork, even your award-winning homemade baked goods, please contact Lisa by December 29 so that we can arrange to collect the items and make bid sheets before the party. If you have any suggestions about donations, share those too. Thank you!

Virtual Food Drive
NJHN is hosting a virtual food drive for the Franklin Food Bank. We’ve supported the Food Bank for many years with both food and financial donations, and encouraging donations at every program we hold at the Franklin Township Library. Food banks face new challenges today and more people struggle with food insecurity. Let’s help the Food Bank make progress with its new expanded facility and Client Choice program. We need your help to reach our $500 goal by January 5th. Our total donation will be announced at the New Year Party. You can donate here. Thank you!
