2020-12-23T19:00:00-05:00
2020-12-23T21:00:00-05:00

A national HumanLight hosted by the American Humanist Association (AHA) in conjunction with Foundation Beyond Belief, Washington Area Secular Humanists, The Freethought Society, Chicago Humanists, Baltimore Coalition of Reason, and Black Nonbelievers of DC. There will be candle lighting, music, comedy, poetry, discussion, games, and beautiful decorations.

You may already know that HumanLight, a winter holiday affirming Humanist values, was created by members of NJHN in 2001, and that the first several HumanLight celebrations were hosted by NJHN. In recent years we’ve drifted away from centering our winter festivities on HumanLight, but members of other Humanist groups have taken to enthusiastically celebrating it. This year’s circumstances have forced everyone into the virtual world, and so we’re all invited to be part of this big national HumanLight event.

Join the Zoom meeting here, or you can find additional connection details at the AHA facebook event page here.
