We’ll meet at the New Jersey State Museum‘s Planetarium (in Trenton) for their free sky talk, followed by a short drive to Washington Crossing State Park Simpson Observatory for star observations with members of the Amateur Astronomy Association of Princeton.

The sky talk is approximately 20 minutes long, after which a convoy will drive up to the observatory at Washington Crossing (about a 20 min. drive.) If the weather is bad the talk will be followed with a free full length Planetarium show.

Convoys can sometimes be broken up and people get behind. The Amateur Astronomers Association of Princeton says GPS directions to the observatory don’t work, so they offer directions on their website.
