You are invited to join us as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of HumanLight, a Humanist holiday created by NJHN members in 2001. HumanLight offers a festive and meaningful celebration of the December holiday season for secular, non-theistic, and humanist communities, and is now celebrated by individuals, Humanist groups and national organizations around the country.
We’ll look back at past celebrations with guest speaker Patrick Colucci and a short video, enjoy musical entertainment by classical guitarist Jeff Griesemer, check on our special activities with our Silent Auction, Holiday Card Exchange, and Trenton Area Soup Kitchen fundraiser, and share ideas on ways to decorate and celebrate. We’ll also salute our Humanist values of reason, compassion and hope with a candle lighting and a toast.
We hope you’ll join us! This event will be free and open to the public and area secular groups.
LAST MINUTE DETAILS: When we are lighting our candles, you are invited to light your own candles where you are. And be prepared with the beverage of your choice at the end of the program when we propose a toast!
