DONATIONS REQUESTED FOR HUMANLIGHT SILENT AUCTION: We’ll once again be holding a silent auction fundraiser as part of our 2023 HumanLight Celebration, using the online auction website, 32auctions.com. Now we need help obtaining donated items to offer for auction. We’re asking for donations of new, never used and unopened items, as well as handmade items such as jewelry, quilt, knit, crochet, craft or leather work, works of art such as oil, water or acrylic paintings, hand-designed cards or notepads, business services or products, new books, even your famous or award-winning holiday cakes, pies or cookies. You can also visit our Amazon Wish List to purchase an item that will be shipped directly to us. And we’re open to other suggestions.
Please contact us at [email protected] to offer donations by December 8, with descriptions, suggested starting bids, and one image of each item for the auction website (baked goods can be image likenesses). If possible, we’d like to have all auction items on display at our HumanLight Celebration.
The auction will open and the link will go live on December 10 and posted here at 8:00 am, and run during our HumanLight event on December 17 until 2:00 pm, at which time we’ll announce the winning bidders. We’ll send a reminder, so please check back on 12/10.
Our plan is to coordinate pick-up or delivery with the winning bidder. If shipping arrangements are required, those will be handled as necessary.
