Would you like to join our Board?
NJHN holds an election each year for positions on its Board of Directors, the governing body that is responsible for the organization’s affairs and policies. Board members are elected for a two-year term.
Pursuant to our bylaws, the Board has appointed a Nominating Committee to establish the process and deadline dates for the annual election: Adriana Cordal, Holly Hotchkiss, and Rhonda Marker (Chair).
This post constitutes the Nominating Committee’s publication of the election process and call for candidates.
March 2: Nominations open
May 3: Nominations close
May 17: Slate of candidates presented to the NJHN Board of Directors
May 31: Voting begins
June 27: Voting ends
June 28: Board election vote results announced at the NJHN Annual Membership Meeting
Anyone who has held membership for at least one year, i.e., since July 1, 2025, is eligible and encouraged to run for the board. If you are interested, please don’t hesitate to contact us about any questions you have.
The deadline for nominations is May 3.
